Note: I have concluded with the evidence gathered thus far that this is the correct Mary Olney for the following marriage:
In James Arnold's Vital Records of Rhode Island; Providence Marriages, is this record:

Mary Olney, and Thomas Greene, August 23, 1764.

I believe this was probably a first marriage for Mary, followed by her marriage to John Timmins.

The following information, though scant, might be helpful in resolving some of the questions about this family. It is from the church records of Trinity church in Boston; NEHGS cd.
